I have purchased a few knitwears from JS ….. most importantly their clothes are made in the U.K.
Excellent quality particularly the last knitwear I purchased which was a limited edition and it was honey or cream colour.
Slightly disappointed with their Cashmere scarf which was a limited edition. It did not feel as luxurious as the cashmere scarf I had got from Burberry few years ago ..however I have kept because of its red tartan colour … upholding the Scottish tradition?

Clear easy website with excellent pictures. Forgotten how wonderful and comfortable the knitwear is.

Beautiful jumper, Sandy coloured, roll neck, zip, warm.
The quality and design are superb, and from past experience the wool lasts and doesn’t bobble like cheaper products.
I absolutely love wearing it.. so much so I bought another in off white.

The sizes they are advertising are simply not correct. I own items from years ago which still fit, but the current sizing is simply misleading. I recently returned two items in a row, having even sought advice about the sizing. It's such a waste of time- ordering a size you take from every other retailer but it comes in around three sizes smaller for John Smedley.

Have always bought John Smedley items either through individual retail outlets or more recently online. I personally think they manufacture the best merino wool t shirts and jumpers / sweaters I've ever seen. I think they're the best on the market.
Over the years it's been an absolute pleasure buying Smedley and on the rare occasions I've had to speak with customer service dept, I have found them to be outstanding in dealing with customer enquiries and or queries with purchasing.
Great company, great products,totally worthy of the royal seal of approval.

Had to exchange both items as they were too snug and it wasn’t a problem at all: DHL retrieved the items and delivered at no extra cost to me, John Smedley kept me informed. First class service for first class products. Brilliant.

Bought the Hoxley jumper. Very pleased with the style and fit. I can always rely on the quality of Smedley jumpers. They last.

Didnt like that you didnt bother replying to an email I sent after putting an order in recently. Had much better customer service in the past. Lets see if you respond to this feedback !

Ordering was simple. They also have a very good customer service department for any query. Delivery was prompt and I was able to track. The garments are beautifully made

These jumpers are on the small size but that is for people who like tight clothes which is the fashion. There was no problem changing for a bigger size so well pleased.

Our John Smedley who art in Derbyshire hallowed be thy knitwear! Once again I have been blown away by the quality and style of John Smedley's knitwear. Highly recommended!
